I am writing to share my strong support for Stephnie Menke in her role as Potter County District Clerk. I have known Stephnie since 2017, when I embarked on my campaign for this office, and I can confidently attest to her qualifications and dedication.
Stephnie brings over twenty years of experience within the Potter County Clerk’s Office, having served as Sue Daniel’s Administrative Assistant for three years and then as Chief Deputy under Julie Smith for a remarkable fourteen years. Her extensive background in various leadership roles makes her exceptionally qualified for the position.
After my retirement, I recognized the importance of a smooth transition in leadership. I recommended Stephnie to the five District Judges of Potter County, knowing they would require a capable and experienced successor. They interviewed her, and I was pleased to see her unanimously appointed as the new Potter County District Clerk on April 1, 2021.
Since taking office, Stephnie has been proactive in updating procedures and enhancing the efficiency of the District Clerk’s office.
